At MVTailgate, we provide the structural frame for your tailgating entertainment. Because our product involves third-party hardware and the mounting of valuable electronics, please read this policy in its entirety. By purchasing or using MVTailgate products, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

    1. Assembly & "Spring-Button" Safety

    Tool-Less PVC Design: This product is assembled using high-quality PVC and a single-end straight spring leg system. No bolts, screws, nuts, or nails are required.

    The "Click" Rule: To ensure structural integrity, you must depress the spring button and slide the components together until the button "pops" completely through the corresponding hole.

    Visual Confirmation: Do not mount a TV until you have visually and audibly confirmed that every spring-button connection is fully engaged and locked.

    Inspection: Regularly inspect factory-glued joints and spring buttons for wear or damage. Discontinue use if any joint appears loose or cracked.

    2. Weight & Size Limitations

    TV Size Limit: Designed strictly for TVs 55 inches or smaller (measured diagonally).

    Weight Capacity: Maximum load capacity is 60 lbs (27 kg).

    Note: While a standard 55" TV weighs between 32–48 lbs, older or specialized outdoor models can exceed 60 lbs. You must verify your TV's weight (excluding its home stand) before mounting.

    Balance: Ensure the TV is centered on the frame. PVC is flexible; an off-center load increases the risk of the stand leaning or failing.

    3. Stability & Environment (User Assessment)

    Purchaser Assessment: It is the purchaser's responsibility to assess the environment (wind, ground stability, and crowd density) to determine if a safe setup is possible.

    Surface Requirements: Use only on flat, level, and firm surfaces. When used on a vehicle, the truck must be in Park with the Emergency Brake engaged.

    Wind Hazard: It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser/user to assess the local weather environment before and during use. You must determine if wind conditions, including unpredictable gusts, pose a risk to the stability of the setup.

    Temperature & Hazards: Keep the PVC frame at least 10 feet away from grills, smokers, or open flames. Do not use in rain, snow, or extreme heat that may cause the PVC to become overly pliable.

    4. Children & Spectator Safety

    No Climbing: This stand is not a toy or a ladder. Do not allow children to lean, hang, or climb on the frame.

    Cable Management: Secure all power and HDMI cables. A tripped-over cord can pull the entire unit over, leading to property damage or injury.

    5. Third-Party Mounting Hardware

    External Vendor Product: MVTailgate does not include a TV mounting bracket with this product. Our website provides a link to a third-party vendor for pole-mount brackets as a convenience only.

    No Recommendations: MVTailgate provides no specific recommendations, endorsements, or technical advice regarding which third-party bracket is appropriate for your TV.

    Fulfillment: Mounting brackets are drop-shipped directly from the third-party vendor. MVTailgate is not responsible for the shipping, fulfillment, or warranty of any third-party hardware.

    Purchaser Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser/user to:

    • Review their TV manufacturer's specifications for proper mounting requirements (VESA patterns, bolt sizes, etc.).
    • Determine which bracket from the third-party vendor is compatible with both their TV and the MVTailgate pole.

    Limitation of Liability

    MVTailgate provides this equipment for recreational use only. The manufacturer and seller assume no liability for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages to property (including televisions and vehicles) or life arising from:

    • The use or misuse of this product.
    • The failure or incompatibility of third-party mounting brackets.
    • Improper assembly or failure to ensure spring-button engagement.
    • Failure to monitor environmental and weather conditions.

    The user assumes all risk and liability for safe installation, operation, and the selection of compatible mounting hardware.
